What is World Ocean Day? Celebrated globally on the 8th June, World Ocean Day is a day dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of the ocean and protecting it. This could be protection from litter, over fishing, pollution and more. It’s a great way to introduce different ocean animals to little learners and develop their understanding of how our actions have an effect on the oceans and the animals who live there.
