This teddy bear number matching activity is perfect for early years learners. Encourage children to practice and remember the number 1-10 by matching each teddy bear to the same numbered picnic basket.
Contains two sheets, one with teddy bears and baskets numbered one to five and one with teddy bears and baskets numbered six to ten. This activity will aid number recognition for early years learners in a fun way, including a family favourite teddy bear and picnic theme.
Learning numbers one to ten is a fundamental start to the numeracy journey, and being able to match, repeat, count and write these numbers before going on to more advanced numeracy will improve your child’s or classes confidence and put them on a great path for future learning. Learning the basic maths principles will also help children take part in activities such as board games and playground games.
